A Rockport Wedding

The wedding day for Matyi Specht and Mike Hord has come and gone and we've had another Bright Spot Success!

By choosing a picturesque location, The Rockport County Club, we worked to enhance the beauty this location provided and use Matyi's bright and exciting colors make this a perfect day. The day started with an excited but relaxed bride and groom and the deliveries of linens, sashes and flowers in lime green, hot pink, turquoise blue and bright orange.
After a long day of setup the room was transformed and the guests began to arrive at 5:30 to sip on cool cocktails before the outdoor ceremony. This took place on a green overlooking a pond as the sun was low in the sky.
Mike and Matyi walked together down the long sidewalk and up the aisle lined with hanging lanterns overflowing with flowers. The ceremony, performed by a close family friend, was performed under and arbor flowing with tulle, greenery and white flowers. Following the ceremony guests were invited back inside for appetizers and cocktails and were then treated to a seated three course dinner. The room was decorated with white chairs, sashes tied in bows, colorful centerpieces and napkins tied with simple bows matching the chairs.
After a wonderful dinner guests watched as Mike and Matyi cut the cake, made by Matyi's cousin Hannah, and took to the dance floor for their first dance to "Night and Day." Guests danced the night away and at the end of the evening the bride and groom left for their honeymoon.

Best wishes in the future to the new Mr. and Mrs. Hord from Bright Spot Events and thank you to all of our partners who helped to make this day a Bright Spot for Mike and Matyi!
